Happenings About Town

New coolers are being installed at Market on Main. These coolers are replacing two very old coolers - the meat case and the produce case.

Yesterday Ken Seim, Mike Spanier, Dave Monson, Gary Monsebroten, Dennis Hammer and Chuck Mielke spent most of the day removing the old coolers. Speculation is when were the old ones installed? Any ideas? By afternoon coffee time a few moans and groans could be heard from sore muscles. They promised today the muscles would hurt twice as much.

This morning these guys along with TJ Hall and Chris DuBois got the new coolers inside. The complete door assembly had to be taken off the entrance to the store to get the new coolers inside. The project got completed except for hook-ups.

It was hilarious to listen to the guys all say how "upset" they were at TJ Hall - why? Because he was up and down, on his stomach and whatever other positions needed to get the coolers inside. I think is is so amusing as the other guys range from about 65 to 76 years old. They know there used to be a time-----! Chris DuBois is exempted as he was driving the wrangler. (Chris does not fit in the "old" category either!)

Edinburg always is and will be a great place to live!!! There is so much to love about this wonderful town.
